Gallaudet’s Educational Neuroscience students conduct groundbreaking cognitive neuroscience research on visual languages and visual learning. Motivated students must apply before the February 15 deadline.
Video description/transcript: A woman is shown seated with the words “Dr. Lorna Quandt Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Educational Neuroscience” captioned in front of her. She signs in ASL “Here at Gallaudet, in the signing community, with the deaf community, we can discover new information about how people work, how our brain changes with experience, how we learn through vision, and how visual language impacts our lives. That information, you can’t find anywhere else in the world. There is no other place in the world where you can run research about those questions except Gallaudet University. If you want to learn and create new information about how people learn best, this is the only place where it can happen.” The video closes with the title “PH.D. IN EDUCATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE” and the website link gu.live/gradpen.
