See the words “sexual assault” or “rape”, and you are likely to imagine a woman as the victim, not a man.

This is all thanks to media images that consistently show woman as victims, as well as the stigma and deep shame that keep men silent about their experiences and pain.

In reality, almost 25% of men have experienced some type of sexual violence during their lifetime, possibly more due to silence.
