Hello! We’re excited to announce that the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has selected DEAF, Inc. to coordinate the statewide DeafBlind SSP Program from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026—furthering our mission to serve the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Hearing, and DeafBlind communities. DeafBlind individuals are one of the most underserved groups in our state, and SSP services are critical for closing those gaps and promoting true inclusion.

Support Service Providers, or SSPs, are specially trained service providers who act as a sighted guide and relay visual and environmental information and help DeafBlind individuals navigate activities safely and independently. These services remove barriers and create new possibilities in daily life.
