Transcript: I was a deaf person in a hearing environment. I didn’t know sign language.
When I came to Gallaudet University I learned sign language, learned Deaf culture, and made friends. My teachers and friends supported me. They included me and I improved a lot.
I’m proud that I found my identity as a Deaf person. Now I can express myself and communicate my feelings easily.
I’m happy I came to Gallaudet University. It’s the best!
