Receiving a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) can be overwhelming and emotionally intense. Often, feelings of shame, fear, or confusion may be stirred up first.
At the same time, finding a BPD diagnosis can also offer a sense of relief and clarity. When someone finally understands the reason for patterns of emotional pain and out-of-character behaviors, this can become a turning point—a chance to begin healing with support.
Thank you, Jennifer, for sharing how you dealt with a BPD diagnosis.
