46 Jesus was busy talking to a lot of people in a house. His mother, Mary, and his brothers were outside the house. They wanted to talk to Jesus. 47 One of the men said to Jesus: ‘Your mother and your brothers are outside. They want to talk to You.’ 48 But Jesus said to him: ‘Who is my mother and who are my brothers?’ 49 Jesus cpointed with his hand to his ddisciples and He said: 50 ‘These people are my mother and my brothers. Everyone who does what my Father in eheaven wants, that person is my brother or my sister or my mother.’
