A cancer diagnosis is one of the scariest things to deal with – and no one should have
to face it alone. Over their lifetimes, approximately 1 in 8 men will have prostate cancer.
Emotional responses to getting this diagnosis can range from shock, fear, and anxiety,
to sadness, anger, and frustration. Adam, a prostate cancer survivor, reflects on his own
experiences and invites Deaf men who have also had prostate cancer to join him for a
monthly support group called the ASL PC Support Group. If you are interested, or know
someone who may be, feel free to email Adam at Link or check out
the website, zerocancer.org to locate the Deaf group. #prostatecancer #DeafHealth
