Why so much problem with deaf interpreters such as not showing up, not provided, using poor quality VRI (Video Remote Interpreting). What about hearing foreign language interpreter? Same problem as deaf interpreter? Are the costs the same? The Law is different between deaf interpreter and hearing interpreter. ASL interpreter under ADA law. Foreign interpreter under Language accessibility. However, I want to know the difference between these two and what experience they face that we, deaf face?
