TruthHurts keeps accusing Jehovah’s Witnesses of using “theology.” But he is an atheist who does not believe in God, Jesus, or Jehovah. Theology usually means human explanations and philosophical ideas about God. Many religions build systems of doctrine based on those ideas. Jehovah’s Witnesses try to do something different. We focus on the Bible itself and let Scripture explain Scripture rather than building theories about God. So when an atheist lectures believers about “theology,” it misses the point. If someone rejects the existence of God, then their criticism of Bible faith has no real foundation. Bluntly put: someone who denies God cannot claim authority to explain faith.
