Yesterday, I made a video about the Iran War situation (Link ). The USA and Israel conducted a joint military attack resulting in the death of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei and many senior Iranian leaders. While I agree Iran is a brutal dictatorship and its people deserve better, I was concerned that President Trump sidestepped Congressional authority to start this war.

That video might've been prescient. Defense Secretary Hegseth said today (Link ): "We didn't start this war but under President Trump we're finishing it."
So Iran started it? That's funny, because the Pentagon told Congress the exact opposite. (Link )

According to top military intelligence, there were no signs Iran was going to attack us first. What Hegseth did was create a false premise — basing his argument on incorrect or outright false information.

This reckless decision led to the deaths of four American servicemen in Kuwait. (Link ) These men died for a lie — the baseless claim that Iran "interfered with the 2020 and 2024 elections." Zero proof. And didn't they make the same claim about China last week? And Venezuela before that?

The irony: Stephen Miller claimed during the 2024 campaign that electing Kamala Harris would mean war in the Middle East. (Link ) Look around.

A few thoughts:

1. We've seen this movie before. We "liberated" Afghanistan and Iraq. Their people were glad to be rid of brutal regimes — but they didn't want us around. Iraq collapsed after we left, ISIS filled the vacuum, and the Taliban retook Afghanistan almost immediately. The same will likely happen in Iran. The only winners here are oil plutocrats.

2. This war is based on a lie. cough WMDs cough. The election interference claim is preparation for Trump attempting to seize control of the 2026 midterms. Don't fall for it.

3. General Dan Caine, Chair of the Joint Chiefs, said this operation was the result of "months, and in some cases, years, of deliberate planning." This was not a reaction to an imminent attack — meaning the War Powers Act doesn't even apply. Trump had no Constitutional authority here.

This is a Constitutional crisis. It would be treated as one if Congressional Republicans weren't too spineless to challenge what Trump decrees. None of this would be happening if 77 million Americans hadn't voted Trump into office and handed Congress to Republicans. The blood of our soldiers is on their hands.
