There is an upcoming play in New York City that is co-written by two Deaf actors, who are also starring in it: James Caverly and Andrew Morrill.

It is called “Trash.” It is a comedy about Deaf roommates who have very different views on what it means to be Deaf in a hearing world.

The play begins March 7 and shows run until March 28. The venue is the Perelman Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center.

A press release said the show is performed almost exclusively in ASL and yet, the hearing audience will be able to understand because there will be theatrical deployments in the script and staging to allow them to follow.

So, if you happen to be in the NYC area, or are considering visiting in March, you could check out this show! Tickets are around $45. All the information is in the link.
