The White House just pulled another illegal act after the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis this morning. The new crime? Extortion. Pam Bondi, the AG, sent a letter to Gov. Tim Walz, which was obtained by Fox News, to demand conditions in exchange to have ICE leave the state. The demands: 1. Local law enforcement to collaborate with the federal agents. 2. End sanctuary policies. 3. Turn over state records on Medicaid and SNAP. 4. Turn over voter records. This is an assault on the state’s sovereignty and an attempt to take away the state’s authority and ability to enforce their own laws. So it is clear that it is not about deporting immigrants. It is about them taking control over states and their communities. This is what fascism does. Just un-fucking-believable!
