The Independent reported that a deaf man who worked at Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory was fired from his job after he requested a transfer to another department due to concerns that his working environment, which included melting pieces of aluminum at 1,220 degrees F with extremely hot machinery and a lot of moisture, caused his hearing aids to fail. He filed an ADA discrimination lawsuit.
