The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and its legal partners at Arnold & Porter, on Monday evening, filed a response to the Trump White House’s filing on Friday where they said they would provide interpreters for press briefings only if it’s scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and not provide interpreters for events not labeled as a “press conference.” The NAD said interpreters can be provided less than 24 hours and demanded them to be provided for any White House event involving the press.
