Walmart pays $300K to settle Deaf workers' ADA claim; Raymond Moore interview
In October, Walmart agreed to pay $300,000 to settle an ADA discrimination lawsuit filed by two former Deaf employees who said they weren’t provided with interpreters for important meetings. Walmart also agreed to revise its policies on accommodating people with hearing disabilities.
