Many Christians talk about a coming ‘rapture,’ but the Bible never uses this word. The idea comes from later tradition, not from Jesus or the apostles. The Scripture speaks of believers being ‘caught up’ with Christ at His return (1 Thessalonians 4:17), but not a secret rapture event. This study clears up the difference between what the Bible actually says and what was added later.
