Here are some of my thoughts and concerns about the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) CEO Search Committee and their current process leading up to the upcoming town hall meeting on Monday. Like Chris Haulmark and others in our community, I’m seeking clarity on whether the committee is in compliance with Article VI, Section 6.3 of the NAD Bylaws, which requires committees to report regularly to members. This is a critical moment for NAD, and transparency matters. Let’s talk about what’s happening and what questions we should be asking as engaged members.
