Jesus never told you to tolerate those who hurt you again and again. If you are still repeatedly putting up with harm, just because you're trying to "love your neighbor as your yourself", 

Then you may have misunderstood what Jesus meant. Jesus never said, "After forgiving someone, you must allow them to keep hurting you." 

Many people assume that loving your neighbor means to forgive unconditionally and stay close regardless. But this is often the very reason you keep getting hurt. You've misunderstood the Lord's teaching.  Yes, the Lord Jesus, "Forgive seventy times seven," But he never said, "you must indulge evil without boundaries." 

Forgiveness is about setting yourself free. It is not a free pass for the other person to continue causing harm. If someone hurts you twice, three times...
and you say in your heart, "I will forgive," This is right. But if, because of this, you let your guard down and fail to discern, allowing that person into your life again and again to tample your boundaries, then you need to understand this isn't spiritual. its foolish. Even Jesus himself walked away from toxic people.

So, yes, forgive. 

But also set wise boundaries. You are not a God. You are not required to endlessly endure emotional blackmail or spiritual manipulation
