Great news from the Oscars red carpet! Marlee Matlin announced that the Academy will honor closed captioning technology with an "Academy Award of Merit" on April 29th. This Oscar will celebrate everyone who's made movies more accessible through captioning technology. Marlee said she's very, very proud.
