President Jenny shares a summary of our successful #JrNAD2023 conference in Maryland earlier this month and ends the video with gratitude for our Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing, and Late Deafened communities.

JENNY: November brings us closer to the end of 2023 but that doesn't mean our work is done. Earlier this month, Jr. NAD Chapters from all over the U.S. gathered for the Jr. NAD National Conference hosted by the Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick, Maryland. It was absolutely wonderful to see our #DeafYouth leaders working together, networking, learning about leadership, and determining their five priorities which will be taken to the NAD Conference in Chicago next year. I look forward to seeing the two Jr. NAD Delegates at the NAD Conference. It was a successful conference, thanks to everyone involved behind the scenes, especially to Claudia Giordano, our Youth Programs Director and the Jr. NAD committee for advising and helping with conference logistics. Next, this month is November which is also a month of gratitude. Our work would not be successful without you, our communities. Thank you for supporting our work. Thank you for bringing up issues and concerns we need to be aware of and address that causes inequity for our Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing, and Late Deafened communities. The NAD is here for YOU, thank you for your ongoing support.]
