Meet Deaf performer Sandra Mae Frank who shares her excitement after her rehearsals for the pre-game show tomorrow, Sunday, February 13, 2022. #SuperBowl #SuperBowlLVI

HOWARD: So, we're here with Sandra Mae Frank who's here to...

ALEXIS: Perform in the pre-game show, and what songs will you do, Sandra?

SANDRA: I'll be performing the National Anthem and America, The Beautiful. I just finished rehearsals and wow, I'm ---

HOWARD: How are you feeling?!

SANDRA: At first, when I arrived it was pretty low-key but then as the rehearsals when on... I was just thinking "Wow, this is really happening, okay - okay - okay!" And both of your input and feedback were super helpful. It's been an amazing experience so far. Just having this opportunity to express who we are and what we do out there for everyone... I'm just... well, let's just say that I'll definitely be having goosebumps tomorrow.

HOWARD: I bet!

ALEXIS: How does it feel to be on the field?!

SANDRA: So, actually, fun fact about me -- I've never actually been to a football field. Well, I mean I've gone to a high school football field but so it's surreal to be able to stand on this field. I mean, I'm among legends inside that stadium! The singers, the musicians, all past Deaf performers, the players, and the game itself -- the feel of it is just incredible.

HOWARD: You can feel the energy of the singers beside you?

SANDRA: Definitely! They both have different energy. Jhené Aiko has a specific beat to her style--

HOWARD: What song is she doing?

SANDRA: Jhené is doing America, The Beautiful. While Mickey Guyton, who is doing the National Anthem, has a much softer melody to her style.

HOWARD: And you can take in their energy?

SANDRA: Yes, it's absolutely amazing to be able to do that. And I can also feel the music beat! I wasn't sure if I could but I definitely can feel the beat, so that's super cool.

ALEXIS: And not to mention the vibes and energy from everyone inside the stadium. We cannot wait until the game on Sunday!

ALEXIS, SANDRA, HOWARD: We're so excited!

SANDRA: Thank you both!

HOWARD: Looking forward to it!
