A Little Bit of Deaf History: Rueben S. Weaver

Rueben Swipe Weaver was an excellent carpenter, builder, and an activist in the deaf community. His CODA daughter taught at Rhode Island Deaf School for many years. In 1937, Ruben passed away at this very house he built on 918 Nelson Street in Staunton, VA.
