Hello everyone!

This is Chris Haulmark, running for US House of Representatives in Kansasâ€™s Third Congressional District.

Today we will talk about me as a Deaf member of humanity, such as when Iâ€™m walking around
and you, fellow humans, are curiously looking on, and see me.

You may be eager to approach and chat with me.

Yes itâ€™s possible! Iâ€™ll show you how, okay!

Hmmâ€¦ how to begin...

Ah, first of ALL, I would applaud your courage if you were to come up to converse with me.

Just remember in the back of your mind that Iâ€™ve already met with MANY, MANY hearing people all across the world whom are not Deaf themselves, who do not know how to sign.

Of course, itâ€™s just FINE by me, however you approach- just by coming and waving, saying â€œHello!â€ in attempting to say something with rudimentary signing, whatever!

Be sure to keep your eyes on my body language and gestures, and I will be open to chatting, adapting and adjusting my style to match our conversational communication needs.

I really do want you to come up and say â€œHello!â€, ask me questions, challenge me!
