Chris Haulmark shares a vision of what could happen when a Deaf person is in Congress!

Hello everyone!

I am Chris Haulmark, running for Congress to represent Kansasâ€™s Third Congressional District!

This vlog covers the vision of a Deaf congressperson working in Washington, D.C. 15 hours a day during the two-year term.

Imagine that during those two years, there are the parents whom are not deaf having a baby that turned out to be deaf.

And the new parents happen to decide to choose how to raise their deaf child- with the disgusting AGBell no-sign-language philosophy.

Imagine that oppression happening...

Over time, the family gets introduced to other families and friends...

Some of those more enlightened and aware family and friends remind the parents to observe the Deaf congressman using American Sign Language.

Those well-intended folks encourage the parents to teach their Deaf baby sign language.

The parents feel pressured to consider this holistic whole-family philosophy, to give up the audistic AGBell ableism shackles.

The parents decide to attend inclusive American Sign Language classes for raising their Deaf baby with sign language exposure.

What a beautiful vision made more possible with many THOUSANDS of Deaf children looking up to a successful Deaf Congressperson!
