Chris Haulmark answers the question: Why post a campaign video every day?

Transcription:

[Video Description: Chris Haulmark is wearing a blue Kansas City Royale baseball cap while standing in the kitchen. He is wearing a black t-shirt with, “HERE FROM THE START” across his chest.”

Hello everyone!

I am Chris Haulmark, running for Kansas’s Third Congressional District!

Today we share why we have been creating videos every day for the last 31 days.

The video-making effort is expected to continue until next August.

Due to my native American Sign Language as the language that I am comfortable using, all Deaf people fluent in ASL are included.

I am able to connect with those who do not know American Sign Language, providing exposure for them.

Simultaneously, I show how my campaign is transparent to the voters.

What is seen here is Chris Haulmark, standing up front, sharing his messages for all to recognize and observe; for all to understand and know that this is Chris Haulmark.

You can see that I am absolutely thrilled and comfortable in using my native American Sign Language for those videos.

I am not at all ashamed to be Deaf.

In fact, I am am truly proud of my native language, of being involved in Deaf culture, and of those members and allies in the Deaf community whom are part of my family.

Aren’t you, the voters, proud, too?
