(It says "Master has given Dobby a Diploma, Dobby is free! Class of 2016.") So, what does that mean? You have seen me talk about how hard I had to work with homework for a while. My PhD journey is over! Now I am Dr. RJ… A. So I am excited! My dissertation is now online. I saw it and was pleased. My degree will arrive sometime at near end of May. My dissertation will be published in a hardcover book for me to put on my bookshelf. Now I will have a memory of all of that hard hard work! I will attend graduation commencement in Minnesota in August. August 19 will be the hooding ceremony and Saturday the 20th will be graduation! *puts on graduation cap* Don’t I look smart?! Anyway, what will happen from now on? I might do an article or two, but I am done. I feel like I don’t know what to do with my time. My journey was long. It took me 4 years! Some people take their journey longer and some people shorter. That means that the student loan will kill me. People ask me where I graduated from and what my major was… it is from Capella University, an online university because it fit my needs as a full time worker who worked day and night. There are a few deaf people attending this university too! My field is in Post-Secondary and Adult Education. It’s something different. Yes, it seems odd! This field relates to teaching in college. I am excited! The PhD journey was tough! My husband always calls himself Dr. Arey, but I am.. not him! Thanks for watching!
