God’s personal name appears thousands of times in the Hebrew Scriptures. Jesus said he made his Father’s name known. Over time, many translations replaced the name with “LORD.” The New World Translation restores “Jehovah” where it was originally written. The goal is not debate. It is respect for the name that God said is “forever.”
