On September 29, 2025, my beloved Ryder—my best friend, my healer, my American Pitbull Terrier—departed from this world. Losing her has left an ache in my heart that words can barely hold. For thirteen years, Ryder stood faithfully by my side, through sickness, through survival, through joy and pain. She gave me strength when I had none and reminded me every day what unconditional love truly means.

In this time of heartbreak, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who reached out with kindness, compassion, and generosity. Your donations, your words, and your presence have been a light during this dark and difficult time. Ryder’s memory lives on not only in my heart but in the love that has surrounded us both.
