GraciousTorah reflects a PHARISAIC Attitude. HRM represents the fundamental tenets of PHARISEES 🚫 Warning Against Self-Righteousness THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEES SELF- RIGHTEOUSNESS Jesus said, “Unless your righteousness surpasses that of THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEES, YOU WILL NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. (Matt.5:20) Pharisees trust in their own righteousness “He also told this parable to some people (Pharisees) who trusted in themselves that THEY WERE RIGHTEOUS” (Luke 18:9). Luke 18:9  “Also He spoke this parable to SOME WHO TRUSTED IN THEMSELVES THAT THEY WERE RIGHTEOUS, and despised others” THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEESSELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and SEEKING TO ESTABLISH THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.  (Rom 10:3) THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEESSELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS and be found in Him; NOT HAVING MY OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OF LAW (TORAH), but through the faith of Christ, having the righteousness of God on faith,  (Php 3:9) ⚠️ External Religion vs. Inward Corruption Luke 11:39 Then the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees make THE OUTSIDE of the cup and dish clean, but YOUR INWARD PART IS FULL OF GREED AND WICKEDNESS. HRM tendencies to "appear righteous" by observing Sabbaths, feast days, dietary laws, etc., can mirror the same outward religiosity Jesus condemned. True righteousness comes not by law, but by faith in Christ and a heart made new by grace (cf. Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
