HRM Error: Renewed Covenant VS New Covenant

✅ Hebrew Roots Movement mistranslation: They deliberately distort "kainē" (new, of a different kind) to fit their doctrinal agenda of continued Torah observance. ✅ Biblical clarity: The New Covenant is inaugurated by the blood of Christ, not a refreshing or restarting of the Mosaic covenant. It is entirely better, new, and internal, fulfilling God's promises and superseding the old. ✅ Scriptural proof: Hebrews 8, Luke 22, Matthew 26, 1 Corinthians 11 — all affirm NEW covenant, not a renewed version. ✅ Key point (Greek word): Kainē means new in kind, not renovated. Your examples from Revelation 21 and 2 Corinthians 5 were excellent — no one thinks of a "renewed heaven" or a "renewed creation." It is new and different in nature. ✅ Purpose of HRM "Renewed" teaching: Keep Torah as binding for salvation/holiness. Reject grace-centered New Covenant teaching. Maintain Mosaic Law as central to Christian life (which directly conflicts with NT teaching, esp. Galatians, Colossians, Hebrews).
